Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner with at least 5 years of experience to manage the development and enhancement of our technology solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with remote developers and in-person clients to translate business needs into scalable and effective products. This is not a developer role but rather a client facing ‘business analyst’ role.
What you'll do
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, regular follow-ups, and accurate management of client expectations
- Translate client requests into detailed, workable tasks for the development team, data analysts, and database administrators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog to ensure timely and high-quality releases
- Work closely with development teams to provide guidance, clarify requirements, and remove blockers
- Edit and perform MySQL database functions as needed to support client requirements and troubleshoot issues
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovation
- Ensure product performance, scalability, and security meet industry standards
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and ensure feedback is incorporated into future iterations
- Monitor and report on key product metrics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong understanding of cloud based SaaS platforms with technical understanding of a LAMP Stack, REST APIs, and MySQL
- Experience working with Retail and Fast Moving Consumer Goods technology solutions is advantageous
- Ability to assess code or challenges and communicate effectively with developers for resolutions
- Understanding of high level software architecture
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
