Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage full financial operations including budgeting, reporting, reconciliations, and group consolidations.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a finance team of five, ensuring high performance and compliance.
- Review, optimise, and maintain internal financial controls and systems, ensuring timely financial closes.
- Drive strategic decision-making through analysis of financial metrics, forecasts, and intercompany transactions.
- Collaborate with HR, auditors, and cross-functional teams for payroll, audits, and statutory compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BCom in Accounting and 10+ years of post-qualification experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in retail, manufacturing, or trading environments, with strong knowledge of financial systems (Kerridge ERP a bonus), consolidations, and compliance.
