Our client, a reputable shipyard company, is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join their team for a two-year contract in Qatar.Requirements:
Diploma/Certificate in CNC Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC machines in shipyard, offshore, or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of machine tools, cutting speeds, feeds, and programming (G-code & M-code preferred). Experience with manual and automated machining processes. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate and set up CNC machines (lathe, milling, or other machining tools). Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs. Perform precision cutting, drilling, and shaping of metal components. Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet exact specifications. Adjust machine settings and tools to optimise performance. Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery. Follow ISO, HSE, and company safety protocols to maintain a secure workspace. Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations.
