Description:
Minimum requirements:Degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Microbiology or similar 35 years experience in food/Agri-processing (macadamia/nut industry preferred) Strong knowledge of HACCP, FSSC, and GLOBAL G.A.P. Lead auditor or similar certification is advantageous Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills Key Responsibilities:
Oversee quality control in macadamia processing (raw material to final product) Implement and manage food safety systems (HACCP, FSSC 22000, GLOBALG.A.P.) Ensure compliance with local and export food safety regulations Manage internal and external audits for certifications. Lead hygiene, pest control, sanitation, and traceability processes Handle non-conformances, recalls, and customer complaints Train and supervise QC and food safety teams Liaise with auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies
