Description:
The Sales and Marketing Manager will lead and improve the performance of both Internal and External Sales teams, including the integration of the DRC office into the broader Sales Department. A key responsibility is to drive The Company's strategic growth across South Africa and targeted African marketsTanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, Namibia, and Zimbabweby leveraging existing networks in the mining and industrial sectors in the DRC and South Africa.This role focuses on expanding The Company's presence in new territories, identifying opportunities, and building sustainable business relationships. The Manager will develop and implement sales strategies, track performance, analyze market trends, and align sales efforts with regional demands. Responsibilities include setting targets, managing training schedules, and ensuring all sales tools are optimized.
As the central figure in sales initiatives, the Manager will oversee detailed planning, resource allocation, and goal achievement. Strong skills in strategy, leadership, budgeting, and analysis are essential. The ideal candidate is a results-driven communicator and proactive problem solver.
Additional duties include contract negotiations, supporting marketing campaigns, adjusting sales targets, and overseeing inventory, vendor relations, and operational compliance. Cross-functional collaboration is key to streamlining processes, improving customer retention, and growing The Company's footprint across Africa.
