Description:
A rapidly expanding company on the scenic Garden Route seeks a qualified and experienced CFO to join its executive board. This strategic leadership role will be instrumental in guiding the company's financial direction, vision, and strategy and will play a key part in the company's continued success.Key responsibilities include risk mitigation, financial planning, operational efficiency improvements, investor and funder relations (including capital raising and due diligence), comprehensive financial reporting, and audit preparation. The CFO will also spearhead the development and implementation of long-term financial strategy and the growth of the finance team.
This role encompasses risk mitigation, comprehensive financial planning, and driving improvements in operational efficiency. The CFO will also play a leading role in engagement with investors and funders, including capital acquisition, onboarding, and due diligence. Responsibility extends to all financial reporting, audit preparations, the formulation and implementation of long-term financial strategy, and the development of the finance team.
Requirements:
CA(SA) or equivalent financial qualification
8 years' experience in senior financial leadership
Strong grasp of financial risk management, governance, and investor reporting
Willing and able to relocate to the Garden Route District
