Are you a visionary finance executive with a proven track record in strategic leadership, corporate governance, and financial innovation? Our client a nationally respected brand with a powerful footprint in the industrial and retail sectors is looking for an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to take the reins of their financial leadership, based in Johannesburg.

As a key member of the Executive team, the CFO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and take full accountability for the financial performance and governance of the organisation. This includes developing and executing financial strategies, leading finance operations, overseeing risk and compliance, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring that the company is financially agile and ready for the future.

Duties:

• Develop and implement a forward-thinking financial strategy aligned with long-term business objectives
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and performance analysis across the group
• Lead risk identification, mitigation, and management strategies, presenting to the Board quarterly
• Oversee accurate and timely management reporting and Board packs
• Ensure full statutory compliance, including taxation, audit, and reporting requirements
• Lead the preparation of annual business plans and financial negotiations with partners and OEMs.

• Experience:
• 814 years post-article experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic CFO/finance leadership role

Deep technical knowledge of accounting standards, ERP systems, financial modelling, and tax (local and cross-border)
