HR Officer

Description:

We have a position available in Parow for an HR Officer to drive the HR policy and support the HR department. Minimum Requirements:

• HR Diploma/Degree.
• 5-8 years HR experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, manage workloads, and meet deadline

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee hiring, including candidate sourcing, application reviews, interviews, skills assessments, and providing hiring recommendations
• Handle employee data related to pay, time off, and training, and generate relevant management reports.
• Utilize HR systems to maintain, plan, and control organizational workforce data.
• Collaborate on needs assessments and implement training programs to improve employee skills.
• Offer guidance to managers and staff on HR policies, including compliance with equal opportunity, anti-discrimination, and safety regulations
• Provide advice on workplace issues, career progression, and coordinate employee assistance programs
• Facilitate the performance management process and systems for managers and employees.
• Manage internal and external disciplinary actions and rehabilitation efforts.
