A fast-growing fintech company based in Cape Town is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. Focused on enabling small businesses through innovative financial solutions, the company offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise will help drive financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and monthly reporting packs.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal control policies.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including audit preparation.
- Contribute to finance system improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- BCom in Accounting and completed SAICA articles.
- 3+ years’ post-articles experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle NetSuite, SAP).
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong attention to detail.
