Our client a registered and licensed Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) specializing in arbitrage opportunities for individuals is currently looking for an Tax Administrator/Assistant to join their Tax team. As part of their commitment to compliance and seamless client experience, they provide end-to-end individual tax administration services, ensuring clients meet their tax obligations efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Administration Prepare and submit Approval of International Transfer (AIT) for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Monitor AIT submissions and manage follow-ups, status tracking, and document re-submissions where necessary. Liaise with clients to obtain supporting documentation and ensure submissions are accurate and compliant. Handle provisional tax submissions where applicable.Compliance & Regulatory Support Monitor SARS compliance requirements for individual taxpayers and keep records up to date. Assist clients with tax clearance applications related to offshore allowances. Ensure adherence to South African tax laws and SARS guidelines.
Client Liaison & Support Engage with clients to gather required tax documentation and ensure all necessary disclosures are made. Provide guidance on tax filing obligations, refunds, and tax liabilities. Assist with SARS queries, verification's, and audits as required.
Administrative & System Management Keep detailed logs of AIT submissions, correspondence, and feedback from SARS.. Work with internal teams to ensure tax obligations are integrated with broader financial and compliance processes. Support broader on-boarding and trading operations with administrative tasks as required.
Area: Stellenbosch, Devonbosch.
Salary offered: R15 000 to R20 000 (depending on number of years’ experience).
Starting date: As soon as possible.
