Description:
Minimum Requirements:- Matric (Grade 12); a Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or Automotive Management preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of establishing or managing dealership networks or acquiring new brands.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the South African automotive market and dealership operations.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel.
Brand Acquisition:
- Identify and research emerging and established automotive brands with potential for local market success.
Develop and execute a comprehensive network expansion strategy aligned with company goals. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities. Prepare business cases and feasibility reports for proposed new brand additions. Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with internal departments (sales, marketing, finance, aftersales) to ensure readiness and support for new brand integrations. Act as the liaison between dealership management and new brand partners. Operational Integration:
Oversee brand introduction processes, including showroom setup, training, and compliance with brand standards. Support dealer team with product knowledge, brand positioning, and launch strategies. Reporting & Compliance:
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to brand development and network growth. Ensure all agreements and operations comply with local automotive regulations and brand standards.
