Requirements:
Higher certificate (NQF5) in Sales & Marketing OR Supply Chain Valid Drivers License Own reliable transport 2 Years experience in the Road/Airline and Freight industry 1 Year experience in an administrative role 1 Year experience in sales or customer service Ability to undertake national travel Ability and willingness to work extended hours at own initiative or request About:
To identify opportunities and promote the service offering by acquiring and onboarding new customers to achieve market share growth within the Domestic Airfreight sector.
Identify Opportunities:
Identify, through knowledge and contacts of the sales force in the industry, new opportunities and potential customers. Develop appropriate strategies to take advantage of opportunities identified.
Customer Acquisition:
Grow the customer base by providing relevant information and following through on new account openings. Inform potential customers of the service offering Offer value-added service, offering tailored per customer to aid conversion rate. Rate negotiations and Pricing structures: Negotiate rate structures per the Sales and Business Developments strategy for new account customers. Submit rates for loading into the system. Check and sign off on rates loaded in the system to ensure accurate billing. Initial checks are executed on preliminary billing to identify and correct billing errors. Onboarding of Customers:
Obtain customer contact details to be updated on the communication platforms. Provide initial training on the portal. Advise finance of rate accounts to be linked and mapped to ensure correct access and accurate billing. Inform Operations of new customers and their requirements for compelling service offerings. Manage and report on customer spending for 3 months from the date of activation Service expansion:
Identify and develop areas of service delivery that may be expanded to improve service delivery. Propose new service offerings, through industry and customer knowledge, to introduce new services and revenue streams. Identify new verticals/commodities to be investigated and devise a strategy to obtain these commodities. Handover to accounts to Key Accounts:
Rate customer accounts after 3 months of activation Provide Key Accounts with a detailed overview and handover of said customer
