We're looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer with a drive for innovation and attention to detail. Our client needs an experienced expert to spearhead mechanical design projects, guiding them from concept to completion. To succeed in this role, you'll need to be skilled in 3D modeling, creating detailed drawings, performing stress analysis, and developing technical documentation. The goal is to deliver projects efficiently and meet deadlines.Education:
- BEng/BSc Mechanical Engineering
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, conveyor systems, or material handling.
- Experience in Visual Basic or C+ programming (advantageous).
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Plan and manage daily engineering tasks to meet strict project deadlines.
- Develop detailed designs using AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks, from conceptual sketches to full 3D models.
- Conduct stress analysis, simulations, and ISO-compliant reporting.
- Handle product costing, quoting, and BOM creation within an ERP system (Epicor).
- Oversee end-to-end project execution, including client liaison, site visits, order processing, and installation support.
- Provide specialist technical support and collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Process sales orders, verify specifications, and manage engineering documentation.
