Hire Resolve’s client, a leading wealth management firm , is seeking a dynamic and experienced Wealth Manager to join their team in Port Elizabeth . This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth clients while delivering top-tier financial solutions and services. The ideal candidate is a driven individual with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of the wealth management space.Responsibilities
1. Client Portfolio Reviews
-
Conduct research on the performance of client portfolios and prepare review reports in line with company standards.

Execute client reviews and ensure timely submission of reports in accordance with policy.
2. Servicing of Existing Clients
-
Provide continuous financial advice in consultation with Wealth Planners on investments, risk, market trends, benchmarks, and insured values.
-
Process client instructions including switches, repurchases, maturities, surrenders, and transfers (Sect 14 and 37).
-
Address and resolve client concerns, queries, and complaints.
-
Manage CCM account openings and payment authorizations.
-
Assist with tax-related matters and documentation (e.g., tax certificates).
-
Support with drafting and signing of wills and estate execution.
-
Apply the principles of TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) in all client interactions.
3. Generating New Business
-
Identify new business opportunities and market the firm’s financial products and services.
-
Prepare client proposals and implement financial instructions.
4. Leadership & Support to Wealth Planner
-
Assist in mentoring and supervising Wealth Assistants to ensure legal compliance and quality service.
-
Identify training needs and contribute to performance appraisals.
-
Oversee output quality from the Wealth Assistant and liaise with service providers for issue resolution.
5. General Administration
-
Record all client interactions promptly.
-
Maintain and update client databases and records.
-
Ensure full compliance with FICA and FAIS legislation.
Requirements
-
Education & Qualifications
-
BCom degree required.
-
Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (preferred).
-
CFP accreditation (preferred).
-
Completion of RE examinations.
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Wealth Management role.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
Core Requirements
-
Willingness to travel for client meetings.
- Fluent in English

Reliable transport and a valid driver’s license.
-
Ability to work both remotely and from the office on a rotational basis.
Technical Knowledge
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Experience with Wealth Planning systems (e.g., Xplan, CRM) advantageous.

Familiarity with Service Provider platforms and tools.
