Duties:

• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics on HVAC components, including variable frequency drives (VFDs), control panels, sensors, and power supplies.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC control diagrams.
• Assign tasks to electricians and technicians, ensuring efficiency and quality workmanship.
• Train and mentor electrical teams on HVAC-specific electrical systems, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Ensure all electrical installations meet regulatory standards such as SANS, OSHA, and relevant electrical codes.
• Work closely with HVAC engineers, technicians, and project managers to support operational needs and project deadlines.
• Maintain records of electrical work, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC systems.
• Monitor and manage electrical inventory, ensuring availability of necessary tools and components.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and energy efficiency standards.
