Are you an experienced billing professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for driving billing integrity?
  • My client is looking for a
Senior Billing Administrator to oversee and enhance their customer billing function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellence across all billing processes.

This role is based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the customer onboarding and billing administration process from start to finish.
  • Accurately generate and dispatch invoices and statements to student accounts in a timely manner.
  • Ensure billing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with statutory and internal policies.
  • Manage an efficient and compliant revenue cycle and proactively resolve billing discrepancies via Fresh Service within SLA.
  • Support revenue assurance initiatives through regular reconciliations and reporting.
  • Monitor bursary and discount applications, ensuring timely processing and accurate tracking.
  • Maintain and update customer records and billing data across all platforms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless billing operations and a high-quality customer experience.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly billing reports, highlighting areas of concern and recommending mitigation plans.
  • Manage billing-related master data processes, including transfers, suspensions, and terminations.
  • Ensure effective document administration and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Requirements:
  • Completed or Studying towards a Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • 3 years proven experience in a senior billing or finance administration role.
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and billing controls.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and process integrity.
  • Comfortable working with service desk systems (e.g., Fresh Service) and ERP/CRM platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams.
