Description:
This office-based position requires a very driven individual who can hit-the ground running from the start.
The focus will be to be the driver and custodian of new business lead generation. Ultimately, to spearhead the sales lead generation process.
Minimum Requirements:
BComm/Marketing or Sales Diploma (advantageous) 3- 5 years outbound sales experience with a proven track record in achievement of targets Food safety/Hygiene industry experience (advantageous) MS Office Suite Applications (intermediate to advanced) SAP knowledge (advantageous) Experience in using MS Teams for meetings and training sessions Own Vehicle & Valid Drivers License
Key Performance Areas:
Reaching out to an existing customer database to increase sales, then expanding to new business opportunities Make use of social media, and traditional sales methods such as cold calling to solicit new business Researching and being innovative about finding and reaching out to potential prospects through social media or similar platforms Be at ease with Cold Calling Be comfortable working towards performance and target KPIs Report weekly on new prospects and pipeline growth in tailored MS Excel reports Use SAP and CRM applications to keep track of sales opportunities in a pipeline and sales activities
