Description:
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
· To oversee and manage the installation, repairs and upkeep of the property
· Management and delegation of tasks to subordinates
· Maintenance of units, buildings, machines and gardens.
· Budget costs of maintenance
· Inventory control
· Implementing policies and procedures
· Manage health and safety programme
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
· Multi skilled in all aspects of maintenance, electrical, plumbing, painting and mechanics.
· Strong managerial skills the individual would need to be able to run the department when the manager is off.
· Project management to oversee various projects we undertake.
· Proficient in word and excel.
· Hands on person with the ability to manage a team.
· Excellent written and communication skills
· Fluent in English, Zulu & Afrikaans would be an advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
· Formal Technical Qualification.
· 3 years of skilled maintenance experience + management experience.
· Must have previous Resort / Hotel maintenance experience.
