The training programs, collateral, engagement, coordination, presentation and evaluations (assessments) should be provided in both French and English (depending on the audience/ park receiving such).
The trainer will ensure that training programs align with company goals and objectives.

PMU members, HO staff and regional staff.
What is the scope and approach of the Technology Training?
The Technology Trainer will spend 4-6 months receiving training at head office on IT, Conservation Technology, Systems and Core Metrics from the BI team.
The trainer will then develop a curricular with each of the Technology Functional Managers to ensure that a high-level training content (in both French and English) can be delivered to the PMUs, HO staff and regional staff.
Assessments will then be formulated to enable the trainer to receive feedback after each training intervention and assess attendees on their understanding after the training.
Training will initially be provided through a facilitator-lead engagement HO first, then Park-by-park (with representation where possible by the regional members as well).
This will follow a 10 days per park engagement (allowing several training sessions at each park to accommodate all PMU members).
On the completion of training across all parks, new staff will be trained.
Requirements
Skill and experience:
- Tertiary education in Technology.
- Experience training medium-sized audiences in both English and French.
- Experience facilitating workshops and training events.
- Experience compiling and delivering training content.
- Experience building technical assessments and evaluating learner competence on technical subject matter.
Key attributes and considerations:
- Good health.
- Fast learner able to receive training, take initiative and in turn formulate content that can be used to retrain future non-technical audiences.
- Exposure and experience traveling in Africa.
- Able to travel for long periods around Africa and able to converse well in both English and French.
Key Performance Areas
- Completing initial 4-6 internal training on IT, Conservation Technology and Systems portfolios.
- Formulation of training content with SMEs and the assessments intended to evaluate future learners attending this training in park and region.
- Provide professionally crafted curricula, communication and coordination with parks and SMEs to facilitate the training events across all regions.
- Receive above-above feedback, consistently, from all regions (both English and French speaking) and ensure an average pass-rate of the learner-assessments is above 75%.
- Complete all park training within 6 months.
