Description:
The Design Quality Control Officer will proofread and ensure the accuracy for all creative materials, ie: design, written content across printed product labels and all digital assets therefore this role requires a keen eye for design, strong copywriting skills, and general knowledge of compliance on advertising platforms.
As the Design QC Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining brand credibility by reviewing, refining, and ensuring consistency in all content.
You will work closely with the Art Director, assisting with quality assurance (QA) across both print and digital assets and ensuring all design and copy is not only error-free but also visually cohesive within our brand guidelines.
Design Quality Control (QC)
Review all creative materials, ensuring our brand guidelines are met, attention to the
detail in design and that there is consistency in designs.
QC all digital copy assets across Amazon and other platforms, including product listings,
A+ Content, Storefronts, and advertising materials.
Maintain the internal style guide and compliance checklist to ensure uniformity across all
content.
Cross-check design elements for text clarity, alignment, and overall visual harmony
within packaging and digital layouts.
Work closely with the Art Director to review labels, packaging, and creative assets for
text clarity and design alignment.
Provide feedback on Click-Up and Page Proof to highlight any quality discrepancies.
Quality Control in Copywriting
Edit and refine product descriptions, bullet points, and key features for listings to
enhance readability, clarity, and conversion rates.
Proofread marketing copy for A+ Content, infographics, and brand storytelling.
Proofread all creative materials, ensuring our brand guidelines, accuracy in ingredients facts, claims, and descriptions.
Fact-check health and wellness claims to ensure they are scientifically accurate and
legally compliant.
Compliance
Monitor listing policies to ensure product descriptions and claims remain compliant.
Work closely with the compliance team to update copy as needed based on changing
FDA/FTC guidelines.
Verify that all copy follows platform guidelines, avoids prohibited claims, and adheres to FDA/FTC regulations.
Requirements:
Qualifications :
Graphic Design qualification or Marketing and or Digital Advertising degree or similar
Copywriting certificate or course
Project Management is a bonus
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the health, wellness,or e-commerce industry
Strong proofreading and copy editing skills with attention to detail.
