Job Summary
This is an in office role, responsible for administration and claims processing on Funeral and other long term policies. The department provides high standards of service to customers by providing product information, resolving enquiries, complaints and claims processing.

Position: Customer Service Consultant for Financial Services Provider
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Relationship Building: Provide courteous, friendly, and professional service to customers, creating strong relationships.
2. Effective Communication: Listen attentively to customer needs and communicate clearly with customers and team members.
3. Customer Inquiry Management: Handle incoming calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages regarding feedback, complaints, claims, and queries.
4. Customer Retention: Proactively ensure customer retention through excellent service and product knowledge, offering options to retain customers.
5. Organisational Representation: Represent the organisation professionally and efficiently to clients.
6. Conflict Resolution: Resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
7. Priority Issue Management: Identify and escalate priority issues to ensure prompt resolution.
8. Customer Service Standards: Contribute to developing and maintaining customer service standards, policies, and procedures.
9. Additional Duties: Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Manager.
Skills, Abilities & Competencies
Excellent client services / client relations
Quick learner
Proficient on Microsoft Word, Excel and strong computer literacy
Experience in Google Sheets
Strong attention to detail
Client orientated attitude
Good communication skills are essential
Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task
Good administration abilities
Flexible and enthusiastic
Friendly
Work well within the team and have a good attitude
Minimum requirements
Matric
Experience & Qualification
Regulatory Examination RE5
Tertiary Education – desirable
Experience in Financial services and Long Term insurance industry
Experience in an administrative role
Excellent command of the English language
Excellent communication skills
