As a Secretary at our medical practice, you will be the first point of contact for patients. You will be responsible for managing front office duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and providing administrative support to the Professor.
Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries Maintaining patient records and ensuring that all documentation is accurate Organizing and maintaining office files Billing / Accounts Liaising with hospitals and supporting doctors for theatre bookings Managing office supplies and ensuring that the office is well-maintained Handling administrative tasks such as transcription Performing other related duties as required to support the ProfessorRequirements:
Previous experience as a medical secretary, receptionist, or in a similar administrative role is preferred but not essential. All training will be provided. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Organizational skills with attention to detail Discretion when handling confidential information Grade 12 Certification or equivalent (required) Own transport
