My client is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cashbook Clerk to join their team. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills to assist in managing daily financial transactions, invoicing, and general office administration. As a Cashbook Clerk, you will be responsible for the following:- Process and reconcile daily bank transactions, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare and submit payment requests for authorization, maintaining accurate cashbook records.
- Monitor and resolve any discrepancies in cashbook transactions promptly.
- Generate and send invoices to customers, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
- Follow up on overdue payments and assist in resolving any billing issues with clients.
- Maintain communication with clients to ensure prompt and accurate payment collection.
- Assist with general office duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Organize and manage office supplies, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide support for other administrative tasks as required by the team.
What Do You Need?:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or accounting will be considered an advantage.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, particularly in cashbook management, invoicing, or office administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with solid numerical skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Pastel, SAP, or Xero is a plus.
