Description:
Our workshop at Montague Gardens, Western Cape is looking for a Workshop Manager. MUST have a valid South African driver's license and have a minimum of 3 years experience as a workshop manager or similar.
Applicants who have previously worked for an aftermarket service center such as BOSCH, e-Car, Car Service City, CARtime, Car Care Clinic etc. will be given preference.

• Bilingual (English is a MUST).
Duties:
• Greeting customers and directing vehicles to an available technician.
• Consult with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs.
• Answering customer questions about service outcomes and consulting with technicians when necessary.
• Informing customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections.
• Assisting customers with quotations and bookings.
• Overseeing and managing the service center’s scheduling and workflow.
• Informing customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked Manage mechanics, fitters, and cleaners
• Control and monitor the productivity of workshop technicians.
• Ensure that parts arrive on time.
• Ensure that the technician complies with their Checklist.
• Ensure that all staff complete their daily Productivity Report.
• Ensure that all work is carried out safely.
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 07:00-17:30 Sat 07:30-13:00
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From R17500,00 depending on years experience.
