Description:
Responsibilities:Compile and analyse financial information to prepare journal entries, including but not limited to accruals, reclassifications, and corrections. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies. Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings. Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets. Participate in audits and provide supporting documentation. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Analyse financial data and provide insights to management. Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices. Perform other accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications and Minimum requirements:
Bachelorâ??s degree in accounting or a related field. 3 + years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting. Strong knowledge of GAAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, ideally XERO Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications:
