Description:
Primary ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management:
Oversee the end-to-end processing of Weekly, Biweekly, and Monthly payrolls for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Ensure accurate input, processing, and reconciliation of payroll data. Maintain and manage the payroll system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with data protection laws.
Compliance:
Stay up to date with South African payroll-related legislation, tax regulations, and statutory requirements such as the Employment Tax Incentive Act (ETI), COIDA, SARS PAYE, and UIF. Ensure all payroll practices align with legal guidelines and that payroll taxes are correctly calculated, reported, and remitted. Collaborate with HR/Ops to manage and maintain compliance with Bargaining Councils and Wage negotiations.
Payroll Audit and Controls:
Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance. Conduct regular departmental audits to verify data integrity and compliance with regulations.

Minimum Experience:
5-7 years of experience in payroll management with a strong focus on South African and Africa legislation and payroll regulations.
Proficiency in Payspace payroll systems.
