ENVIRONMENT:
A cutting-edge Energy Specialist urgently seeks to fill a 6 to 12 Month Contract role for a proactive & highly driven Project Manager with proven knowledge and experience of the Software Development Lifecycle and how this translates to the project delivery framework. You will plan, control and execute a set of activities to deliver a broad range of IT projects specific to applications: to agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality. You will require an IT-related Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification including Project Management with 3-5 years suitable experience in project delivery, change delivery, 3rd party software vendor selection and management. You also need a solid understanding of the costs of IT (project and "lifetime") and the ability to cost operational IT services to identify cost saving or revenue generating benefits.
DUTIES:
- Responsible for the definition, documentation and satisfactory delivery of projects.
- Maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports.
- Responsible for effective Stakeholder selection and engagement for the duration of the project.
- Manage escalations when tolerances are breached in terms of cost, time and quality requirements.
- Manage resources for projects, such as computer equipment and resources.
- Coordinate Project team members and develop schedules and individual responsibilities.
- Implement IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget and timeframes.
- Use Project Management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
- Conduct risk assessments for projects.
- Organise meetings to discuss project goals and progress.
Key Challenges:
- Ensuring stakeholders are kept engaged and informed throughout the delivery of the project.

Qualifications
Educated to Degree level, likely in an Information Technology specialty or holds a professional qualification. A Project Management qualification.
Experience/Skills
3-5 Years relevant experience in project delivery. Has achieved proficiency in project management and change delivery. Proven, relevant experience of the implementation and delivery of changes to IT systems. Has proven experience of 3rd party software vendor selection and management.
