Key Responsibilities:
- Budget & Reporting: Prepare annual salary budgets, monitor manpower costs, and report on variances.
- Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Reconciliation & Compliance: Ensure alignment between payroll and general ledger systems, manage audits, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Process Improvement: Analyze payroll procedures, recommend improvements, and implement best practices.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop payroll staff to ensure high performance.
- Cross-Border Payroll: Manage payroll for international hires, transfers, and secondments.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Provide superior payroll support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Payroll-related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in payroll accounting, with managerial experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of payroll systems, general ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Compliance: In-depth understanding of payroll legislation, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
- Leadership: Ability to supervise and develop a payroll team effectively.
