Job & Company Description:A leading mining group is seeking a CA(SA) with 3 – 5 years of post-qualification experience in the mining sector to step into a pivotal FP&A Accountant role. This position offers the opportunity to work on multi-jurisdictional consolidations, project accounting, and high-level financial analysis, contributing to the strategic financial oversight of the business.
Other duties include:
- Joint venture consolidations and external shareholder reporting across multiple entities and currencies.
- Project accounting and reporting for key operations across various international locations.
- Assisting in the financial planning and analysis process, including budget preparation, variance analysis, and cost tracking.
- Preparing internal and external financial reports for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Reviewing financial reporting packs from international operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- CA(SA) qualification
- 3 – 5 years of post-articles experience within the mining sector.
- Strong consolidation, reporting, and financial analysis expertise.
- Experience with multi-currency and multi-jurisdictional reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to oversee and indirectly manage junior team members.
