Description:

A leading OEM company is looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in electrical systems and instrumentation, ensuring optimal design, installation, and maintenance of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of E&I equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and calibration of instrumentation systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize plant performance.
  • Provide technical support for maintenance and reliability improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an E&I engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and SCADA.
  • Experience with hazardous area classification and ATEX requirements (preferred).
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, and SANS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
