A leading OEM company is looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in electrical systems and instrumentation, ensuring optimal design, installation, and maintenance of critical systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of E&I equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and calibration of instrumentation systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize plant performance.
- Provide technical support for maintenance and reliability improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field.
- 3+ years of experience in an E&I engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and SCADA.
- Experience with hazardous area classification and ATEX requirements (preferred).
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, and SANS.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
