Escavox, a high-growth AgriTech company focused on helping food supply chains to deliver fresher, better produce to consumers through a combination of hardware, software and analytics, is seeking to appoint a dynamic, detail-oriented and tech savvy Customer Support Officer to join their team based in Durbanville, Western Cape.
The role will report to the Client Services Director. Key performance areas will include: *Investigate and resolve customer queries *Manage bulk device setup, linking, and troubleshooting *Monitor device performance and system functionality *Configure and maintain geofences *Maintain and update customer profiles and data *Identify and implement improvements in administrative workflows *Assist customers in optimising their use of Escavox technology *all other tasks related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Grade 12, a relevant qualification will be advantageous;
• 2-3 years’ experience in customer support or admin role in the IoT, FMCG, or logistics environment;
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues;
• Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office (specifically Excel);
• Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English;
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (occasional travel to customer locations might be required - travel will be reimbursed);
• Own working devices (personal laptop and phone).
