Key Responsibilities
Rental Book Management: Oversee financial records for approximately 220 properties. Tenant Invoicing: Process monthly rental and utility invoices. Owner Payments & Statements: Generate and send owner statements and invoices. Cash Book Management: Capture transactions up to Trial Balance. Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT201 returns. Email Correspondence: Respond to financial inquiries from owners and tenants. Payroll & Compliance: Assist with EMP501 returns. Filing & Record Keeping: Maintain organized financial records. Payment Processing: Load ad hoc payments as required. Agent Communication: Liaise with agents regarding owner payments. Petty Cash Management: Oversee and reconcile petty cash transactions. Credit Card Reconciliation: Perform monthly credit card and Checkers card reconciliations. Trust Account Management: Maintain Trust Account cash book and monthly reconciliations.Required Skills & Experience
Bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in property management. Strong understanding of financial reconciliation and tax submissions. Proficiency in Excel for financial tracking and reporting. Experience with Propworx (preferred but not essential, training can be provided). Familiarity with Sage Pastel Online for Trust account management. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills for liaising with owners, tenants, and agents.Why Join Us?
