My client a professional property administration provides services for body corporates and property associations, specializing in financial management, maintenance coordination, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for effectively overseeing all business operations and actively contributing to achieving Property Management strategic goals within the Western Cape region and other regions within the Companys footprint. Role reports to the Chief Operating Officer
Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategy Development and Implementation Participate in the execution of strategic business priorities. Ensure the Companys foundational statements (Vision, Mission, and Values) are adopted and implemented within the specific geographical region. Ensure the Companys Property Management strategies are implemented, supported by legislated practices, and the Company remains competitive in the geographical region. People Management Oversee recruitment, training and development, performance management, team motivation, and remuneration strategies within the region. Lead and develop team members in various branches by providing guidance and support in achieving the Companys goals in the Western Cape region. Ensure compliance with company policies and practices, and local legislation. Financial Management Effectively oversee the regions expense-cost management and control, to allow the Companys Western Cape region to effectively service client needs. Stakeholder Interaction Regional stakeholder management internal and external. Actively and efficiently manage client escalations. Participate in the development and execution of growth and marketing strategies. Provide executive support to branches in the geographical area (e.g., Century City and Somerset West) to ensure that client needs are met, through regular branch visits to ensure optimal day-to-day operations and achievement of set goals for each branch.Requirements / Qualifications & Regulatory Requirements
Must reside in the Western Cape Must have own reliable transport Minimum 7 years experience in a Senior Management or Executive Leadership position (in similar position within Property Management) Degree in a relevant/related field Business Administration /Management (BBA, MBA) with Property Management or Real Estate and Finance or Accounting (MBA or advanced degree would be an advantage). Qualification in Sectional Title Management. PPRA Certification Property Practitioner (would be an advantageous).Skills & Knowledge
