Job Title: Credit Operations Supervisor - Collections Business Area: Credit Service JobType: Permanent Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa Application Deadline: 2025/04/23 Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Credit Operations Supervisor - Collections to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, guiding, and developing a team of Collectors while ensuring that key performance requirements are met in alignment with operational processes, systems, and objectives. You will manage staff scheduling, performance, and recruitment, while providing support and training to achieve optimal results. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the scheduling of staff to ensure efficient coverage. Conduct training and development sessions for team members to enhance performance. Monitor and manage staff performance, providing support to meet targets. Address and manage poor performance through appropriate interventions. Handle recruitment activities for the Collections team, ensuring the right fit for roles. Manage the daily workflow processes to ensure productivity and adherence to service standards. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports. Conduct call monitoring to ensure quality standards and compliance are maintained. Participate in rotating night shifts as required. Qualifications and Experience: Matric (Matriculation Certificate). Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a Collections environment. Essential experience with Vision Plus system. Background in a Call Centre or Credit environment is required. Previous experience in Collections is a must. Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong people management and leadership skills. Proactive, energetic, and results-driven approach to work.
