Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative and PA support as required. Handle accounting tasks, including banking and VAT-related processes. Receive and verify deliveries, ensuring correct sorting for dispatch. Maintain and update records, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Draft and manage professional correspondence via email and telephone. Utilize Sage and Microsoft Office for daily operations. Maintain an organized and efficient workspace. Take initiative in improving processes and increasing efficiency. Requirements:
Strong accounts background/knowledge. Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience in the electrical or lighting industry (service-based, wholesale, or retail) is advantageous. Solid understanding of VAT calculations and submissions. Experience in banking transactions and reconciliations. Highly organized, efficient, and proactive with a strong work ethic. Excellent professional communication skills. Quick learner with a willingness to adapt and grow within the role.
