Join a leading FMCG manufacturing plant in Brits and take your career to the next level!Only Degreed Candidates Please ð¹ Position: Automation Engineerð¹ Industry: FMCG Manufacturingð¹ Location: North West, South Africað¹ Experience: 5 to 10 years in a relevant roleð¹ Qualification: Engineering degree in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechatronics Key Responsibilities:â Program and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure optimal plant automation.
â Set up, calibrate, and optimise filling & packaging machines for efficiency.
â Implement and maintain SCADA & HMI systems .
â Drive continuous improvement projects for automation and efficiency gains.
â Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime .
What We’re Looking For:
â Solid experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar).
â Hands-on expertise in instrumentation & automation within an FMCG environment.
â Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
â A passion for innovation, efficiency, and smart manufacturing .
Ideally we would prefer a person from FMCG, but we would also consider a person from Automotive and Heave Manufacturing.
