Description:

The Container Depot Administration Clerk is responsible for managing administrative functions within the container depot, including maintaining records, preparing reports, and assisting with logistics operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle customer service requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Container Management:
Ensure accurate capturing of container estimates/quotes in the customers system. Follow up daily with customers on pending estimates/quotes for approval. Follow up with the team on approved estimates/quotes awaiting completion. Maintain accurate records of container statuses (empty, loaded, repaired). Documentation and Reporting:
Ensure all necessary documentation for containers is provided to customers and filed accordingly (e.g., photos, inspection reports). Generate and maintain reports on container statuses, maintenance, and revenue. Ensure all records are accurately updated in the customers quotation/estimate system. Customer Interaction:
Assist customers with inquiries regarding container availability and pricing. Compliance and Safety:
Report any safety concerns or discrepancies in estimates/quotes to the Container Depot Manager. Administrative Support:
Answer phone calls, emails, and other communications related to container operations. Perform filing, data entry, and general clerical duties as needed. Prepare and process invoices and credit notes. Set up new customers in CMS & Business Central. Coordination with Other Departments:
Liaise with maintenance and repair teams to ensure timely action on tasks. Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Post high school diploma or equivalent; administrative or logistics qualifications preferred. Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in logistics or a container depot environment.
