Description:
Job Purpose:
The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for leading a team to plan, coordinate, and manage all technical and facilities operations . The role involves overseeing building maintenance, contract management, utilities management, compliance with safety regulations, and budget control to ensure operational efficiency.
This position requires a hands-on approach to facilities management, including maintenance of electrical and mechanical infrastructure, contract oversight, and vendor management . The ideal candidate will drive cost optimization, risk management, and technical service delivery while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure planned maintenance execution aligns with schedules and update operating systems accordingly.

Conduct annual risk inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Implement efficiency initiatives to reduce operational costs.

Compile monthly utility reports for analysis and forecasting.

Ensure prompt resolution of client and tenant queries within 24-hour response time .

Maintain high standards of customer service and operational excellence .

- Facilities Manager: 4 to 5 years
-
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSc or BTech) or an equivalent diploma .
-
Alternatively, an artisan with trade qualifications in electrical or mechanical fields .

5 to 10 years of facilities management experience in retail or commercial sectors OR engineering maintenance/project experience in a factory setting .
-
Hands-on experience in managing electrical and mechanical infrastructure , including transformers, switchgear, generators, HVAC systems, lifts, escalators, and fire compliance .

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and project management principles .
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) .

Valid driver’s license .
