A well-established South African holding company, specializing in manufacturing and trading steel and steel-related products, is currently seeking a Financial Manager to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, while delivering strategic financial insights to support decision-making and business growth.Duties:
Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to support business decision-making. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency. Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth. Oversee taxation and audit processes, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
A BCom Degree is required. Completed articles and relevant experience in a commercial finance role.
