The main purpose of the role is to provide decision useful information (both operational and financial) to the company.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to management.

Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and financial reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide insights for decision-making

Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage cash flow projections and reports
  • Analyse cash flow trends and recommend improvements

Cost Management:

  • Analyse costs and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
  • Assist with inventory management and pricing strategies

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance
  • Mentor and develop junior finance staff

Risk Management:

  • Identify financial risks and devise strategies to mitigate them
  • Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and functioning

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 - 10 years experience
  • Formal qulaification (CIMA route preferable)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Own vehichle
