Overseeing and maintaining electronic systems, including fiber optics, IP networks, databases, and machine control software. Diagnosing and resolving PLC system issues (no programming required) to ensure smooth machine operation. Handling wiring, equipment installation, and machine calibrationexperience with weighing systems is a plus. Providing expert technical support and training to customers, helping them fully leverage automation capabilities. Taking charge in the field to tackle on-site challenges with quick thinking and technical know-how. Continuously enhancing machine performance, efficiency, and automation processes. Effectively communicating technical concepts to both customers and colleaguesfluency in Afrikaans is Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in both spoken and written Afrikaans is essential. Solid IT skills paired with a strong background in electronic technology. Proven ability to perform accurate machine calibration. Knowledge of PLC systems, including Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB, Honeywell, or other major platforms Qualification:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering. Valid driver's license. Valid passport (required for international travel). Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
