Description:
Job Responsibilities:Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery according to scheduled maintenance reports. Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed on time and in line with operational requirements. Diagnose and repair electrical faults in jigs, fixtures, and robotic equipment to minimise downtime Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence Adhere to all health and safety regulations during maintenance and repair tasks. Ensure electrical systems and equipment are compliant with safety standards and protocols. Assist the Electronics Technician in the implementation of new projects and the optimisation of production lines to improve efficiency. Collaborate in the design and installation of electrical components for new equipment or system upgrades. Respond to electrical breakdowns and call outs promptly to minimise production delays. Implement electrical changes and modifications as required to support plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Work independently on assigned tasks while also contributing as part of a larger maintenance team.
Job Requirements:
Min N3 with Electrical Trade test Have a minimum of 5 years technical experience in an automotive manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings Ability to build and repair electronic circuits / small jig panels Computer literate (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Working knowledge of CO2 welding Good working knowledge of PLCs
