Our client based in Pretoria North is looking to employ a Motor Vehicle Technician to join their team.This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Diagnostics: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles. Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and routine maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues, proposed repairs, and maintenance recommendations. Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each task. Qualifications:
Education: Matric Certificate. Certification: Trade Test Certificate in Motor Mechanics (Petrol or Diesel). A Master Technician qualification is advantageous. Experience: Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, preferably with a premium brand. Licensing: Valid Driver's License. Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Additional Requirements:
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets. Clear criminal record. Willingness to stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
