Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician
Location: Johannesburg North Area
A very well-known motor dealership is looking to appoint a Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and the necessary qualifications to perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic assessments and vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including engine, transmission, and brake systems. Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and in compliance with industry regulations. Provide expert advice and guidance on vehicle maintenance to customers as needed. Keep accurate records of all services performed on vehicles. Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained work environment. Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and ensure customer satisfaction.Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Valid driver’s license. Must be a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with a recognized trade qualification. Proven experience working as a vehicle technician at a motor dealership. No criminal record. Contactable references from previous employers or dealerships. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
