Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Management:

Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals. Ensure compliance with South African Labour Laws and industry regulations. Provide HR guidance and support to senior management and department heads.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent. Develop workforce planning strategies to meet business needs. Promote employer branding initiatives to enhance talent attraction.

Employee Relations & Compliance:

Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes in accordance with Labour Laws. Foster a positive workplace culture by implementing employee engagement initiatives. Ensure compliance with HR policies, contracts, and labour legislation.

Performance Management & Training:

Implement performance management systems to drive employee development. Identify training needs and oversee the execution of learning and development programs. Support leadership in managing employee performance and career progression.

Compensation, Benefits & HR Administration:

Oversee payroll, compensation structures, and benefits administration. Ensure accuracy and compliance in HR reporting, records, and employee documentation. Monitor HR metrics and provide reports to management.

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of South African Labour Laws, HR policies, and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

HR certification (e.g., SABPP, CIPD, SHRM) is advantageous. Experience in handling trade unions and dispute resolution. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use HR data for decision-making.
