Description:
Managing general ledger postings, including bank transactions and journal entries, across multiple entities
Performing month-end reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Assisting with the preparation and execution of the year-end audit process
Ensuring compliance with statutory and tax regulations
Preparing accurate financial reports to support business decision-making
Collaborating with internal teams to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency
Liaising with external auditors and consultants for financial reporting and compliance matters
Supporting financial analysis and forecasting efforts
Maintaining proper documentation and records for financial transactions
Providing insights to enhance financial processes and controls within the organization
Skills & Experience:
Sage Intacct, SAP Business One, and Draftworx experience beneficial
Strong proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Knowledge of E-filing processes, including VAT, PAYE, and CIPC returns, preferred
Experience in general ledger posting, including bank transactions and journal entries, across multiple companies
Proven ability to perform month-end reconciliations and assist with year-end audits
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
Deadline-driven and capable of working under pressure
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
Ability to analyze and improve financial processes, with a tech-savvy approach to automation
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across different staff levels and cultures
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional and ethical standards
A proactive mindset with a willingness to take on responsibilities beyond the core job description
Qualification:
BCom with completed articles with minimum 2-3 years of experience
BCom and minimum 5-6 years experience in relevant role
