Our client, a prominent player in the Property industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their growing team in Pretoria. If you hold a completed BCom Degree, have completed your articles, and have experience or exposure within the Property sector, this could be the perfect role for you!

Duties:

• Prepare, review, and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts, ensuring the accuracy of data and providing key financial insights to support decision-making.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial information and assisting in tracking actual vs budgeted results.
• If you have exposure to the property sector, you will be involved in tracking rental income, lease agreements, property valuations, and related financial aspects.

  • Qualifications:
  • Completed BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Completed articles (SAICA or similar), with a strong grounding in financial accounting and reporting.

Experience: Previous exposure to the Property industry is highly advantageous, as it will allow you to hit the ground running with an understanding of the industry-specific financial considerations, such as property valuations, rental income, and lease accounting.
