As a Financial Service Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our financial services department. You will assist in managing client accounts, providing administrative support, and helping clients with their financial needs. Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with basic financial inquiries, providing timely and accurate information regarding their accounts Support senior financial advisors with day-to-day tasks such as preparing financial documents, reports, and presentations Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all client files Process client transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, in compliance with company policies and procedures Assist in the preparation of tax documents, financial statements, and other financial reports as required Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and queries in a professional and timely manner Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow Assist with account reconciliations and data entry tasks as necessary Stay updated on industry regulations and financial products to ensure compliance and accurate advice
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the finance or insurance industry Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software preferably Pastel / Xero Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
