A leading automotive manufacturing company, dedicated to producing high-quality vehicles that exceed customer expectations is seeking a talented Business Development Specialist to join our team and contribute to our success.Key Responsibilities
Promote and secure new contracts with fleet and rental companies to drive business growth. Liaise with government departments (e.g., RT57 tenders) to ensure compliance and foster partnerships. Support and contribute to key projects aligned with company goals. Collaborate with potential business partners for EV initiatives and strengthen relationships. Market company products to corporate clients to enhance sales and brand presence. Participate in monthly strategic meetings and analyze business/production data. Track industry trends and prepare feedback reports. Address and resolve customer service issues to ensure satisfaction. Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers for ongoing credibility. Drive retention and expansion of key client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships. Conduct business presentations and proofread contracts/agreements for accuracy. Take meeting minutes and follow up on action items. Provide translation services when required at business events. Perform additional duties as needed to support business development.Education & Experience
Diploma in Business Administration or a related financial qualification. At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, particularly in sales and marketing. Strong knowledge of the South African automotive market. Experience with dealer networks.Competencies
